The wait is over – the full program for OSMC 2026 is here! From November 17–19, leading members from the open source monitoring community will come to Nuremberg. Three days, great sessions, and a lot to look forward to.
What’s on the agenda this year
The 2026 program reflects where open source monitoring is actually heading:
- AI & LLMs in monitoring – from AI-guided root cause analysis and self-healing incident response to LLM-powered troubleshooting and end-to-end tracing for AI data systems
- Infrastructure & security – DNSSEC monitoring, patch monitoring done right, and hands-on time with Wazuh
- Logs, metrics & traces – high-performance time series databases, frontend observability, and context-driven observability meshes
- The classics, evolved – the latest on Icinga, Prometheus, and the wider CNCF and Grafana ecosystem, plus a look back at the history of open source monitoring itself
Whether you run monitoring for a small ops team or a global platform, there’s a track that fits.
Head over to the full program and start planning your personal agenda.
A FIRST LOOK
Can’t wait? Here are four speakers to give you a taste of what we have in store for you:

Hands-on: The Workshops
Before the conference kicks off, our workshops give you a full day of hands-on time with the tools you actually use in production. Small groups, expert trainers, and enough room to ask the questions you never get to in a 40-minute talk. They tend to sell out early – so if there’s one on your list, book it now.
Beyond the Sessions
OSMC has always been as much about the people as the program. This year we’re kicking things off with something special on Monday evening
Monday, November 17 – after the Welcome Dinner, pick your flavor:
- Gin Tasting – six curated Franconian gins, tonic water, and the story behind local craft distilling. Approx. 2–3 hours, Hotel Scandic.
- Whisky Tasting – a guided journey through six fine whiskies, rounded off with a Franconian beer and a snack. Approx. 3 hours, Hotel Scandic.
- Guided City Tour – a 2-hour evening walk through Nuremberg’s medieval old town, past the Imperial Castle and across the historic market square.
Heads up: spots for the tastings are limited and allocated by raffle – tick the box when you book your ticket to enter the draw.
