Nov 30- Dec 4 started the silly season with comedy from Geek & Poke, monitoring for beginners and a few reading tips.
Julian shared a few blogs worth visting, for comic comparison of SOAP and REST, good IT reading on Nagios with IBM BladeCenter or DNX, incident handling and SQL.
He also shared something for the monitoring newbies, with a presentation on “Network monitoring with Nagios and Icinga” he gave at the Open Source Expo in November.
Was a quiet one from us last week- in anticipation of more exciting stuff in this one coming.
Vigilo
Vigilo basiert auf Nagios, RRDTool, SEC und NagVis und versucht durch die Integration der Tools eine vollumfängliche Monitoring Lösung zu sein. Für Debian gibt es ein Paket in Version 1.1 zum Download. Insbesondere die Kombination mit dem Simple Event Correlator (SEC) klingt interessant.
